Waves of the Forth is a painting which focused on the power and rhythm of the waves coming in from the North Sea by Edinburgh. This canvas art work is one of my favorites and I do miss having it on my wall. I was very pleased with the effect I managed to create for the waves rolling in from the Firth of Forth which is the main shipping lane in to Fife and Edinburgh.
Edinburgh is an amazing city but as yet I do not feel confortable painting the city itself, instead I prefer to paint its surroundings as I find it more enjoyable. In the art gallery you will find more seascape paintings as well as landscapes and other more specific works of art.
